I have put “nomodeset” at the end of the kernel boot options and now the console is like I’m looking for: 80×24.

Is this a valid solution for a not GUI server console?

    Thanks

    Ok, Jonathan ‘nomodeset’ work.

    Then I have:

    a) vi /etc/default/grub # remove ‘rhgb quiet’, add ‘nomodeset’
    b) grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg c) reboot

    Thanks
