CentOS7.3-Mate
Hello All,
I have this problem starting CentOS7.3 – the official name escapes me at the moment. I often install CentOS7 Minimal, then X Window System, then Mate desktop. This last step gives me trouble, and I have to run
# yum groupinstall mate –skip-broken
output:
skipped packages:
NetworkManager-I2tp ldns libreswan unbound-libs xl2tpd
I realise this is probably an issue for EPEL or Mate.
Happy hollidays
J.

Not sure why you need to skip those, they install and work on my system.
One of those packages actually does have a bug right now, xl2tpd I think
(required by libreswan) where it specifically requires a kmod that is provided by the kernel package but yum doesn’t see it.

Hello,
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1406360
the message a get when installing Mate from minimal install at the moment:
—> Pakket xl2tpd.x86_64 0:1.3.8-1.el7 wordt geïnstalleerd
–> Verwerking afhankelijkheid: kmod(l2tp_ppp.ko) voor pakket: xl2tpd-1.3.8-1.el7.x86_64
–> Transactiecontrole uitvoeren
Greetings, J.
