ZFS Scrubbing (might Be Off Topic)
Folks
I have a ZFS file system. It seems to be scrubbing too often. As I
type, it’s 5 hours into the process with 36 hours to go, and seems to be doing it several times a week on a slow drive.
I cannot find an option to control the frequency; crontab has no references. Any clues?

maybe look in /etc/cron.d/* and /etc/cron.daily ?
OK, I found it. Is this option documented somewhere? Are there other frequency settings? like once-a-month?

i’ve only used ZFS on solaris, where there are no automatic scrubs unless you script your own via cron, and freeNAS where they are done at intervals specified via the webui.
Are you deleting large files?
