Is there a version of chromium for CentOS with a new enough flash plug-in to work with VMware vSphere client for ESXi 5.5?
Thanks, Mark

I’d expect pepperflash is missing from builds due to licensing restrictions
[0] (as Johnny mentioned in relation to his earlier builds). You’ll find scripts [1] to snag the libraries from official Google Chrome RPMs.

Is there a way to install that patched GTK segregated from the rest of CentOS so only chromium accesses and uses that version of GTK?
Thanks.
It may be possible. But it needs a lot of search
:-)

Hmmm… then I fail to see how that’s better than Richard Lloyd’s script to install Chrome in CentOS 6.x… i.e. http://chrome.richardlloyd.org.uk/
At least that script segregates the libstdc++ and libgtk/libgdk files into /opt/google/chrome/lib so only Chrome uses them.
Yes you are right that one might as well install Chrome and I was going to post a link today, but last night I was posting from a phone.
I found Lloyd
I am working this out
Chrome 24 (one of the last versions of chrome still able to run on CentOS 6) has new enough peperflash to run vsphere 5.5 webinterface
(also needs openjdk 1.7 installed and some fonts to work properly)

New version (34.0.1847.132-2.el6)
First install this patched gtk2 version segregated from the rest of CentOS
