Is it possible to configure the automounting of USB drives to mount read-only?

Is there some gconf/udev/udisks/hal/whatever setting to alter the default mount options when USB disks are plugged in by users?

Thanks

I couldn’t find anything that could do this, so for now, I’ve ended up hacking ‘udisks’ to add ‘ro’ as one of the default mount options – not ideal, but it appears to do what I need.
