I’ve been having a problem with motion on one server – the .avi’s it produces are dark, low contrast, and it keeps resizing from 642×420 to
296×360 or some such. Trying to figure it out, I was just going through
/var/log/dmesg, and found rtc0: alarms up to one year, y3k, 114 bytes nvram

I mean, y3k? I think we’ve got 900 years or so to worry ’bout that….
