Git 2.23 Or Later
The latest version of git for C7 is 1.8.3 and in SCL it’s 2.18 although the repository claims 2.9 is also available. I am looking to upgrade to 2.23 since i need the –no-overlay option. Is anyone running this version (or later)? If so, from which repository?

Thank you will do but when I tried ‘yum remove rh-git218’ to remove the SCL version prior to installing the IUS version, yum confirmed removing it but even so it does not seem to be removed, ie I can still run it and it still exists in /opt/rh/rh-git218/root/usr/bin/git.
What gives? I do not remember having had this problem before. I must have missed something when using ‘yum remove’ to delete a SCL package…
