How To Reinit An Own Repo After Adding Files?

Hallo, I try to use my own repo. The problem:
The repo is working when using it while installing a fresh system using pxe and kickstart. When changing the content and rebuilding the repo new packages are not found. My question:
What is the right way to reinit a repo complete? I tried several hints I found in the web but new packages are never found.

Thanks Ralf

  • Hallo, Im using createrepo. The problem is that changes in the repo are not availiable via yum on my system.

  • Are you using createrepo every time you make any changes? You need to do that in order to re-create the XML metadata containing the updated packages.

  • Please, could you share more information about this issue (the steps how to reproduce would be perfect)? There was a similar bug filed on Fedora/dnf but without reliable reporoducer yet –
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1750152. Feel free to add a comment with the reproducer to this bug and re-open it or file a new one if your issue looks different.

Hallo, it was defintley my mistake. I m blocking docker updates in /etc/yum.conf and tried to use an own
    repo with docker-packages for testing.
