Previously the packages were built 6 Dec 2022 published 13 Dec 2022.

Now the download packages are rebuilt 30 Mar 2023 published 03 Apr 2023.

Why would a previously published package be re-published with different build ?

The content seems to be the same, but the metadata (checksum and size) are different.

Only reason I ask is that the metadata change broke our local mirror caching on artifactory.

  • I was a bug in the building script .. somehow we should have gotten the newer tzdata-2023c-1.el7 built, instead we rebuilt the previous release.
The new tzdata has since been released.
