Not seeing it, but libuuid.so is provided by libuuid-devel from EPEL. Frequently, static libraries are not provided by CentOS / EPEL. Is there a reason you need the static instead of dynamic? If you, you probably have to rebuild the src.rpm after modifying the spec file to not delete the static library.
